A public, support-assisted way to request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Request deletion without reinstalling the app
This page is for the MyRanking student app, package in.myranking.app. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting the MyRanking support team.
How to send your request
Identify the account
Use the subject “MyRanking account deletion request”. Include the registered email address or mobile number and, if helpful, the name displayed in MyRanking. Send from the registered email when available. You do not need to provide a reason.
Confirm what you want deleted
Write: “Please delete my MyRanking account and its associated personal data.” For a request concerning specific data rather than the whole account, describe that instead.
Complete ownership verification
Support may ask you to verify control of the account through an appropriate secure process. Do not email passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar/PAN documents, card details or UPI PINs. A request from an unverified third party must not cause your account to be deleted.
Receive the outcome
Support handles the request manually and confirms completion or explains any verification steps, retained records, applicable retention periods or other limitations. There is no instant automated deletion or guaranteed completion time displayed on this page. You can follow up using the same email thread.
Data covered by account deletion
Your request covers account/profile information, linked exam responses and study history, session/device associations, and account-linked content under MyRanking’s control. Access to the deleted account and its associated history will no longer be available.
Limited records may need to be retained for legitimate reasons: transaction/accounting obligations, fraud and security investigations, disputes, or documenting your request. Support will identify applicable retained categories and periods rather than treating a disabled account as deleted. See the privacy policy’s retention section.
Content copied independently by other people may remain outside our control. Non-identifying aggregate statistics may also be retained.
Before deleting your account
Save any study information you need. If you have unsynchronized answers, avoid clearing app data while you are trying to recover them. Uninstalling the app removes some local information but does not delete your server account.
If you have a recurring subscription, cancel or manage it with the provider through which you subscribed. Deleting a MyRanking account does not necessarily stop a separately billed subscription. Contact support for help; the deletion request itself does not require installing the app again.
